Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Virginia SLP license required
• Experience working with pediatric populations strongly preferred
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is advantageous
• Familiarity with school-based speech therapy approaches
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills essential

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy to students within two school settings across a full-time schedule (35-40 hours/week, Monday–Friday)
• Assess, diagnose, and implement treatment plans to address speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to create supportive learning environments
• Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
• Engage in ongoing professional development and stay updated with best practices in school-based therapy
