Essential Qualifications:

• Valid Virginia Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and prior experience in pediatric or school-based settings are preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and educational teams
• Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans in accordance with IEPs

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to an assigned caseload of students
• Conduct assessments to identify communication disorders and develop appropriate interventions
• Work closely with staff and families to support student progress and participation in educational activities
• Maintain thorough documentation, progress reports, and compliance with all district and regulatory requirements
• Support and collaborate with colleagues within two school buildings, adapting to the needs of diverse student populations
