Exciting Opportunity for Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse!

Job Description:


- Join our dynamic team at a Critical Access Hospital!
- Work a 7 pm to 7 am shift, with varying nights of the week.
- Must have an active Alaska RN License at the time of submission.
- Obtain Flu vaccination and complete ICPA background check requirements.

Key Responsibilities:


- Provide exceptional nursing care to obstetric patients during labor, delivery, recovery, and immediate postpartum.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop personalized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately per provider orders and policy.
- Monitor fetal health and ensure newborn care post-delivery.
- Collaborate closely with providers and neonatal teams for optimal safety and outcomes.
- Recognize changes in patient conditions and take appropriate actions.
- Deliver culturally sensitive and patient-centered education to patients and families regarding care and discharge needs.

Qualifications:


- Associate's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in Alaska or other U.S. state required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications are mandatory.
- Strong clinical judgment, organization, prioritization, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical ability to lift, push, pull, and move up to 50 pounds.
