Job Title: LPN Wing Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Wing Supervisor to join our clinical team. Under the direction of the RN Supervisor, you will carry out clinical plans of care and oversee Nursing Assistants to ensure high-quality resident care that aligns with state and federal regulations. Compensation & Shift Details:

• Hourly Pay Rate: $26.00 / hour
• Shift Differential: +$0.75 / hour for Night Shift (applies from the beginning of the shift).
• Relocation: Potential relocation assistance may be discussed during the interview process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clinical Care & Monitoring: Administer and record medications, treatments, and routine monitoring (e.g., glucose checks); accurately transcribe physician orders.
• Supervision & Leadership: Direct and oversee Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) on the floor, adjusting daily staffing assignments as needed to ensure complete, compliant care.
• EHR Documentation: Utilize electronic health record (EHR/EMR) software to document resident responses, updates, and laboratory work requisitions.
• Care Planning: Review and update individualized resident care plans monthly alongside the CNA team to accurately reflect significant changes in condition.
• Collaboration: Assist physicians with clinical rounds, examinations, and treatments; notify the RN Supervisor immediately of any critical changes in resident health.
• Facility Compliance: Monitor staff performance for strict compliance with infection control, medical asepsis, and safe body mechanics.

Candidate Requirements & Qualifications

Licensure & Certifications:

• State Licensure: Must possess an active, current Pennsylvania (PA) LPN license or a temporary PA work permit (Required at time of interview) .
• Life Support: Active Basic Life Support ( BLS ) certification from the American Hospital Association (AHA) (Required) .

Experience & Preferences:

• Experience Level: Open to experienced LPNs as well as New Graduates .
• Setting: Prior experience working in a Skilled Nursing Facility or Nursing Home is (A Plus) .
• Immunization: COVID-19 Vaccination is (Preferred but not required) .

Physical & Professional Demands:

• Good physical health, mental alertness, and knowledge of proper body mechanics.
• Must be free of communicable diseases and able to pass standard pre-employment physicals.
• Dress Code: Any colored professional scrubs, clean closed-toe shoes, professional appearance, and facility name tag worn daily.
