In partnership with our patients and referring physicians, we strive for excellence in our efforts to improve the quality of life for our patients.Job Description for EKG Technician / Receptionist:Places patients in the exam room according to protocolChecks height, weight, vitals and performs EKGRestocks exam rooms, sample closet and physician workstationsReview records for accuracyMaintains appropriate chart documentationIdentifies operational delays and reports directly to the manager and/or supervisorReports equipment issues to the manager and/or supervisorReviews and stays up to date on position reference material which outlines all responsibilitiesPerforms opening and/or closing dutiesAssist with other office support duties as directed by the manager and/or supervisor Check in patients: (collect copays, referrals, scan insurance cards, DL, scripts, schedule, reschedule, phone calls, etc)Check out patients: (schedule appointments, give patient instructions, medication printout instruction printout, scripts for outside testing, etc).RequirementsMonday – Friday according to the physician's schedule to work in a fast-paced environmentCertified Medical Assistant; preferredEKG technician; Experienced preferredComputer skills: EHR, Word, Excel, OutlookBenefits:30 min.
