Funded Forex Trader Opportunity
Maverick Currencies, a proprietary trading firm founded in 1997, is offering a Funded Forex Trader opportunity for candidates based in or near New York City, NY. This position is structured as a 1099 independent contractor role. It is not a salaried or hourly position, and compensation is performance-based rather than fixed.
About the Opportunity
Traders accepted into this program receive access to funded trading accounts, with capital allocations available up to $400,000 based on demonstrated performance over time. Maverick Currencies provides the structure and resources for traders to operate, but does not direct or supervise day-to-day trading decisions. Traders are responsible for their own strategy, analysis, and execution within the program's parameters.
Compensation
Compensation is earned through a profit split ranging from 65% to 90%, depending on account performance and program tier. Profits are never guaranteed, and this role carries no fixed income. Traders who are not profitable do not earn income from this role. This structure rewards performance and is suited to individuals who understand that trading outcomes vary and are not assured.
Who This Role Fits
This position is entry friendly. No prior trading experience is required, and training is provided to help new traders learn the fundamentals of forex trading and the firm's funded account process. The schedule is flexible, and the work is fully remote, making it accessible to candidates throughout the New York City area who want to trade on their own time.
What You'll Do
- Complete training on forex market fundamentals and trading tools
- Develop and apply a personal trading approach within funded account guidelines
- Manage risk and track performance independently
- Progress toward larger funded account allocations based on results
