Overview
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Long-Term Care travel assignment in Waterloo, New York. Start date: 09/15/2026. Duration: 23 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,538 to $1,578 per week. Shift: Full-time, 5x8s. Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect skilled nursing care to residents under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Collect data on residents’ physical and psychosocial condition and communicate findings to the RN and the Interdisciplinary Team.
- Contribute to development and updates of an age-appropriate, culturally relevant plan of care with resident/family input; implement interventions to achieve outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed; monitor vital signs and respond to changes in patient status.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other staff; participate in rounds and care conferences; mentor or orient other staff as directed by the RN.
- Maintain current knowledge and competency in nursing practice; uphold safety, infection control, and patient safety standards.

Requirements
- Active New York Licensed Practical Nurse license
- BLS certification (AHA or RQI)
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an LPN in a long-term care setting
- Willingness to rotate through day, evening, night (D/E/N) shifts
- Ability to provide care for adult and geriatric residents; strong assessment, communication, and teamwork skills
- Graduation from an approved practical nursing program (LPN credential)
