Step into a full-time, onsite contract opportunity as a School Social Worker in the Olean, NY area, where you’ll collaborate closely with staff, students, and families to foster positive change.

What we’re looking for:

• Valid New York State Social Worker Certification (required)
• Previous experience as a School Social Worker or in school-based settings preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to effectively interact with students, faculty, and parents
• Understanding of adolescent development and trauma-informed practices
• Ability to provide assessments, crisis interventions, and counseling services
• Team-oriented approach with a passion for fostering student growth and wellbeing

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting individual and group counseling sessions for students needing social, emotional, or behavioral support
• Collaborating with educators, counselors, and administration to create a supportive learning environment
• Leading interventions, developing behavior plans, and supporting crisis response as needed
• Facilitating communication between home and school, providing resources and referrals to families
• Documenting student progress and maintaining confidential records per school policy
• Contributing to multi-disciplinary teams to develop and implement IEP and 504 plans
