Operations Director- Residential Construction

We're seeking an experienced Operations Director to lead the preconstruction and contract-to-start process for a growing residential construction organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop teams across preconstruction, design, estimating, and project coordination
• Own construction-start projections, schedules, and turnaround times
• Ensure accurate plans, specifications, selections, and budgets
• Coordinate with Sales, Design, Estimating, Construction, engineers, and trade partners
• Identify bottlenecks and continuously improve processes
• Track performance and drive accountability across teams

Qualifications

• Strong experience in residential construction , preferably custom/semi-custom
• Proven leadership experience in preconstruction, design, estimating, or construction
• Ability to read plans and identify constructability, budget, and coordination issues
• Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Knowledge of permitting, engineering, scheduling, xhyhwjd estimating, and construction
• Buildertrend or similar software experience preferred
