Duties/Responsibilities: Support with general construction duties for earthwork, demolition & utility work. Loading & unloading materials and equipment. Dig trenches, compact earth, and backfill holes. Take direction from the foreman and superintendent as the job progresses. Operate hand and power tools of all types. Responsible for the precise installation of various underground utility pipes in compliance with plans and specs. Qualifications: Strong work ethic. Safety-focused mentality. SAFETY is our #1 priority. Ability to lift heavy material & work in various weather conditions. Detail oriented. Pipe laying experience for underground sewer & water utilities. Ability to read and interpret plans, blueprints, and grade stakes. Knowledge of surveying and measuring equipment (pipe laser/transits/grade rods, etc.).
