The Weekend Line Cook - Food Prep position at AIM Sports Group in Seal Beach, CA offers a dynamic and fast-paced work environment within a small team led by a head chef. This part-time role focuses on preparing and cooking quality food during weekend shifts, with occasional holiday opportunities. The ideal candidate will bring strong culinary skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to food safety while supporting kitchen operations and collaborating effectively with fellow team members.

Shifts typically start between 12:00p and 3:00p

$20 - $22 per/hour

(Actual offers may vary based on experience and skills)

Responsibilities

• Assist with stocking and setting up kitchen stations
• Prepare ingredients by cleaning, cutting, and cooking a variety of dishes including main courses, desserts, appetizers, and snacks
• Plate food following senior chef guidance
• Coordinate with servers to ensure accurate and timely order completion
• Wash and clean kitchen utensils and equipment; store equipment after shifts
• Maintain kitchen hygiene and ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations
• Work effectively within a small team environment

 

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in food preparation and cooking
• ServeSafe certification
• Ability to perform physical duties including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing or walking for extended periods
• Flexible availability for weekend and occasional holiday shifts

• Strong knowledge of food preparation and diverse cooking techniques
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene best practices
• Proficiency with kitchen equipment handling
