Civil & Commercial Litigation AttorneyDirect Counsel is seeking a Civil & Commercial Litigation Attorney to join a prominent national law firm in its Naples, Florida office. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced litigator seeking a substantive role with significant autonomy, direct client engagement, and the opportunity to contribute to the continued growth of a sophisticated litigation practice.The firm is open to candidates at the senior associate or junior partner level, depending on experience and qualifications.About the RoleThe firm's litigation team represents businesses, developers, contractors, and other clients in a wide range of complex disputes across multiple industries. Attorneys in this role will handle matters involving:Business and commercial litigationConstruction litigationContract disputesShareholder and partnership disputesReal estate and development-related litigationGeneral civil litigationAlternative dispute resolution proceedingsThis position offers the opportunity to manage cases from inception through resolution while working closely with clients and experienced practitioners on sophisticated litigation matters.ResponsibilitiesAttorneys will play a lead role in all phases of litigation, including:Managing cases from initial assessment through trial or resolutionDeveloping litigation strategy and case plansTaking and defending depositionsDrafting and arguing substantive motionsAppearing as lead counsel at hearings and court proceedingsConducting factual investigations and legal researchAdvising clients on litigation risks and business objectivesManaging day-to-day case activity and deadlinesSupervising junior attorneys and support staff, where appropriateSupporting business development and growth initiatives within the practiceQualificationsJ.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.Active membership in the Florida Bar.Approximately 5–15 years of litigation experience.Experience handling business, commercial, construction, and/or general civil litigation matters.Demonstrated ability to independently manage complex litigation matters.Significant deposition and motion practice experience.Courtroom and hearing experience.Strong legal writing, advocacy, and analytical skills.Excellent interpersonal and client relationship management abilities.Leadership qualities and the ability to mentor junior team members.Portable business is welcomed but not required.Why Consider This OpportunityThis position offers the opportunity to join a highly respected litigation practice while enjoying a meaningful role in shaping client strategy and case outcomes.
