How You Will Make An Impact

· Provide expertise regarding hazardous materials survey, and abatement/demolition oversight services.

· Independently complete project deliverables.

· Perform task management responsibilities within deadlines.

· Assist with the preparation of technical proposals.

· Effectively manage workload to exceed client expectations and meet project requirements.

· Partner with NTH Project Managers to manage tasks.

· Prepare technical reports.

· Serve as a Task Manager under the direct supervision of a Project Manager.

· Train and mentorship junior staff.

Requirements

· Associate or Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering/Science or comparable discipline.

· MI Asbestos Inspector Certification required.

· NIOSH 582 Certification preferred.

· Minimum of two years of experience in conducting Hazardous Materials Surveys including comprehensive asbestos evaluation for building rehabilitation and demolition projects.

· Knowledge of air monitoring and on-site microscopic analysis during asbestos abatement projects.

· Must have strong written and oral communication skills, be able to work in a team environment as well as independently, demonstrated collaborative approach to problem-solving, and have ability to interact with clients to understand their needs.

· Exceptional time management and organizational skills, and ability to work on projects for multiple project managers within budgets and timelines.

· Must hold a valid driver's license and vehicle insurance and be willing to travel to and conduct field work at job sites as well as NTH offices in Michigan.

· May be required to perform job duties in the field and office, during non-standard work hours, as necessary.

· Must be able to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
