Attorney PositionProxy Legal Staffing & Search Group has partnered with a regional firm to find an attorney! The ideal candidate will have experience handling a diverse caseload of general liability matters and be comfortable managing cases. Responsibilities include managing general liability cases from inception through resolution, drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents, conducting legal research and developing case strategy, taking and defending depositions, attending court hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences, preparing cases for trial, including witness and exhibit preparation, and communicating with clients, insurance carriers, experts, and opposing counsel. Maintaining case files, billing, and litigation deadlines is also required.Qualifications include a J.D. and active Pennsylvania bar admission, 2+ years of litigation or insurance defense experience, strong legal research, writing, and communication skills, and experience managing a litigation caseload independently. Trial experience is a plus.
