Job Description This is a dual posting with job ID 59002. Only one position will be filled between both postings, depending on the qualifications of the final candidate. The University of Missouri Department of Family & Community Medicine seeks an Advanced Practice Provider to provide primary health care and perform selective medical services at our Battle Avenue Medical Building under the collaboration of practice physicians. This position will see Family Medicine patients for ongoing health care conditions, preventive care, and acute care needs. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive health assessments and demonstrate a high level of autonomy and expert skill in the diagnosis and treatment of actual and potential health problems. Perform patient histories and physical exams, order and perform diagnostic procedures, monitor patient condition, lab values, and results of diagnostic procedures, and develop treatment goals. Collaborate with a physician in difficult or complicated cases as agreed upon in the collaborative agreement. Act as a resource for patients, families, nursing staff, and other health care professionals in the area of expertise. Shift Monday – Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Minimum Qualifications Physician Assistant (PA) licensure by the Missouri State Board of Registration for the Healing Arts. Preferred Qualifications 2 years of experience in a primary care setting. Salary Range and Title Salary: $110,000 – $126,000 annually; Grade: PAT - 012; University Title: PHYSICIAN AST.
