Surgical Technologist – Peoria, IL
Direct Hire | Full-Time | Day Shift

Surgical Technologists play a vital role in delivering safe, high-quality surgical care in an acute care setting. Working alongside surgeons, registered nurses, and anesthesia providers, you will prepare operating rooms, maintain sterile technique, organize surgical instruments and supplies, and provide intraoperative support during a variety of surgical procedures. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and committed to ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and surgical excellence.

Position Overview

• Permanent, full-time role
• Acute care setting
• Day shift
• 36-hour work week
• May float to assist other surgical teams as needed

Compensation & Incentives

• Salary range: $27.26 – $38.48/hour
• $15,000 sign-on bonus with a 2-year work commitment
• Comprehensive benefits package

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program
• Minimum of 2 years of Surgical Technologist experience in an acute care setting
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Strong knowledge of sterile technique, surgical instrumentation, and operating room procedures
• Ability to anticipate surgeon and procedural needs in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently and assist with up to 100 lbs
