Application Modernization Lead

As part of Stellantis’ digital transformation, we are accelerating enterprise-wide modernization initiatives to reduce datacenter footprint, modernize legacy applications, and migrate critical workloads to cloud‑native platforms.To scale these efforts, we are establishing an AI‑powered Application Modernization Factory, leveraging agentic AI and GitHub Copilot to industrialize modernization across domains.We are seeking a technical lead to design, build, and scale this capability, enabling faster, more predictable, and repeatable transformation at scale.Key Responsibilities:Modernization Factory Design & BuildDefine and implement the AI‑powered modernization factory modelDesign and standardize modernization and migration patternsBuild AI-first pipelines leveraging GitHub Copilot, agentic AI, and complementary toolingEstablish scalable, reusable frameworks for enterprise modernizationAI-Driven Transformation EnablementDefine and implement AI capabilities across the software lifecycle, including:Legacy code assessment and complexity analysisFunctional decomposition and domain modelingAutomated refactoring and migration to cloud-native architecturesSecurity, IAM, and compliance validationTest generation, regression testing, and UAT accelerationProgram Leadership & Stakeholder CollaborationAct as a technical lead and thought leader, driving adoption across IT domainsCollaborate with security, cloud, DevOps, and platform teamsDefine and promote new ways of working for AI-driven transformationInfluence architectural decisions and modernization strategies across the organizationModernization InitiativesLead and support transformation across key domains:Identity & Access Management (IAM) modernization and legacy system retirementMigration of legacy applications to cloud-native architecturesMainframe transformation and cloud offloading strategiesBasic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related fieldMinimum 5 years of experience in large-scale cloud or application modernization programsStrong expertise in cloud architectures (AWS and/or Azure)Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines and developer toolchains (e.g., GitHub, automation pipelines, quality tooling)Hands-on experience or strong interest in AI-driven software modernization, including tools such as GitHub Copilot, Copilot Agents, Claude, or CodexSolid architectural judgment and problem-solving capabilitiesProfessional Skills:Ability to operate effectively in complex enterprise environmentsStrong communication, collaboration, and influence skillsExperience driving cross-functional transformation initiativesBrand: FCA GroupJob ID: 2018914Employment Type: Full-timeJob Area: ICT, Digital and DataPosted Date: 08/06/2026
