Medical Assistant II - Dermatology
IU Health Medical Group is seeking a Medical Assistant II to support our expanding Dermatology practice in Avon. With three new providers joining the team, this is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a specialty clinic while working alongside experienced providers and staff.
Location: West Professional Center, Avon, IN
Full-time (1.0 FTE)
Monday-Friday
Typical hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Occasional flexibility between 7:45 AM - 5:00 PM
No weekends or holidays
No travel required
Key Responsibilities
- Room patients and obtain vital signs
- Prepare patients for exams and procedures
- Assist providers during dermatology visits and procedures
- Support biopsies, excisions, and suture removal
- Clean and prepare exam rooms
- Maintain supplies and stock rooms
- Assist with scheduling and documentation as needed
- Collaborate with providers, nurses, and teammates
Requirements
- Certified Medical Assistant (MA II)
- Interest in dermatology and procedural care
