Qualifications and Experience:

• Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) to effectively support diverse student needs
• Valid SLPA licensure in Texas
• Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred, especially working with children and adolescents
• Ability to implement therapy plans under the direction and supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Genuine enthusiasm for fostering student success and engagement

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with delivering individualized and group speech-language interventions proven to enhance students’ communicative abilities
• Support the supervising SLP in preparing materials, monitoring progress, and documenting session outcomes
• Collaborate with educational staff to help integrate therapy strategies within classroom routines
• Provide language-rich activities that reflect students’ cultural and linguistic backgrounds
• Follow established guidelines to ensure compliance with state and district protocols
