NextGen Hospitality Solutions is excited to announce an opening for a Restaurant General Manager - Fine Dining at our esteemed establishment located in Long Beach. This full-time, on-site position offers a unique opportunity to lead our team in delivering an exceptional dining experience that showcases the finest culinary offerings.
As a Restaurant General Manager, you will be at the heart of our operations, ensuring smooth daily activities while maintaining the highest service standards. You will collaborate closely with chefs and staff to curate a menu that delights our guests, all while driving efficient operations and fostering a positive team environment. Your leadership will play a crucial role in our brand reputation and customer satisfaction. The position offers a competitive salary range of $110,000 - $125,000 annually, reflecting our commitment to attracting top talent in the industry.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure a high-quality dining experience
- Manage staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluations
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase patronage
- Maintain relationships with suppliers and ensure product quality
- Monitor inventory and control costs to optimize profitability
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints effectively
- Generate reports on sales, finances, and staff performance
Requirements
- Associate degree in Hospitality Management or related field
- 3+ years of experience in restaurant management, preferably in fine dining
- Strong leadership skills with a passion for customer service
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
- Proficiency in restaurant management software
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Knowledge of food and beverage trends and best practices
