Ideal background and skills:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active state licensure in Georgia
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship (CF)
• Experience in pediatric or school settings preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Flexibility and adaptability for dynamic school environments

Key responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in school-aged children
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student’s goals
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, staff, and families to support students’ academic and social progress
• Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams as needed
• Provide guidance and resources to families and educators
