Patient Services Rep II
Children's Hospital Los Angeles
Schedule Monday-Friday, Day Shift; Onsite Purpose Statement/Position Summary The Patient Services Rep II provides patient-families with a positive experience at CHLA by performing clerical tasks primarily associated with answering incoming calls, registration, making outbound calls, collecting patient co-pay, deductibles, and/or outstanding balances. Completes financial clearance and authorization duties, serves as the administrative support for providers. Works closely with providers to ensure notes/documenting and corresponding billing is completed in a timely manner. Assists with creation and review of performance reports and metrics. Minimum Qualifications / Work Experience 1 year of experience in customer service, preferably in a medical front office setting. Basic knowledge of computers, filing and organizational skills. Ability to deal effectively with the public. Preferred Bilingual in English/Spanish. 3+ years of experience in medical office setting. Ability to provide customer service over the phone. Education / Licensure / Certifications High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
