Required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):

• Steel-toe shoes required. Composite safety shoe covers may be provided if needed.
• White lab jacket, protective glasses, helmet, and shoe covers provided.
• Hearing protection provided and must be worn in designated areas.

Pre-Submission Candidate Notes (include at top of resume):

• Ability to stand up to 10 hours per day.
• Comfort working in and out of 38&degree;F chillers; jacket may be personal or provided.
• Comfort wearing hearing protection in a noisy environment.
• Comfort wearing required PPE listed above.
• Comfort with team lifts up to 50 pounds and handling 2–4 pound carts and trays in chillers.
• Willingness to perform other duties as assigned, including support in the Kitchen area.
• Optional: Bilingual in Spanish and prior food industry knowledge.

Responsibilities:

• Follow supervisor direction to meet production targets and quality standards.
• Attend transfer area from filler to chiller and ensure orderly product flow.
• Inform Supervisors or Leads of any product information discrepancies.
• Transfer production carts in and out of chillers and stage in WIP areas.
• Orient product alignment at the Garvey table and flip trays in chillers as needed.
• Rework product below specifications to meet quality requirements.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas in accordance with 5S.
• Promote and follow safety procedures, HACCP principles, GMPs, and company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including support in the Kitchen area when needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 18 years or older.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend/stoop, twist, push, pull, raise arms, lift, and climb frequently.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs with team assistance as needed.
• Ability to work while wearing PPE and in noisy environments.
• Ability to work across temperature zones, including extended periods in cold and hot areas and where dust may be present.

Preferred Skills:

• High School diploma or GED-equivalent.
• Bilingual in Spanish.
• Prior food industry knowledge.
