Accounts Payable Specialist

- Join a collaborative North America Finance Shared Services team \n
- Manage the full accounts payable process \n
- Work with SAP / SAP S/4HANA \n
- Handle high-volume PO and non-PO invoice processing \n
- Support vendor management, payment processing, reconciliations, and month-end close \n
- Partner with internal teams and external vendors to resolve AP issues \n
Key Responsibilities

- Process and validate high-volume PO and non-PO invoices. \n
- Perform 3-way matching , coding, reconciliation, and discrepancy resolution. \n
- Review invoices for approvals, tax treatment, documentation, and policy compliance. \n
- Respond to vendor inquiries regarding invoices and payments. \n
- Prepare payment proposals and execute scheduled supplier payment runs. \n
- Support month-end close activities, including AP accruals and reconciliations . \n
- Review AP aging reports and reconcile vendor statements. \n
- Create and maintain vendor master data in SAP . \n
- Verify vendor banking, tax, legal, and payment information. \n
- Identify and escalate duplicate or potentially fraudulent vendor records. \n
- Support internal controls and process improvement initiatives. \n
Requirements
\n- \n
- 3–5+ years of Accounts Payable experience \n
- Experience in a high-volume or shared services environment preferred \n
- Strong knowledge of invoice processing, payments, and 3-way matching \n
- SAP experience required; SAP S/4HANA preferred \n
- Strong Excel skills , including formulas, sorting, filtering, and reconciliations \n
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills \n
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines \n
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills \n
Work Environment
\nThis is a hybrid position in Princeton, NJ during training, after that we are open to remote . Onsite presence may vary based on training, team needs, and business requirements.
