Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a range of ultrasound examinations, spanning abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, explaining each phase with sensitivity and clarity
• Work closely alongside radiologists and referring physicians to ensure high-caliber diagnostic images
• Effectively operate and maintain imaging equipment, promptly reporting any malfunctions
• Accurately document procedures and maintain meticulous patient records within our electronic medical system
• Stay informed about the latest developments in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred

Skills Needed

• Proficient technical skills in sonographic imaging methods and patient positioning
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
• The aptitude to work independently as well as within a multidisciplinary team
