Your key responsibilities

• Conduct diverse ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts screenings
• Prioritize patient safety and comfort, clearly explaining procedures while providing compassionate support
• Partner closely with radiologists and referring healthcare providers to ensure the delivery of accurate diagnostic images
• Safeguard and maintain imaging equipment; proactively report any technical issues
• Document procedures meticulously and maintain patient records within our electronic medical system
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging and best practices

Qualifications you will bring

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in diagnostic medical sonography or a related area
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited sonography program is preferred

Certification requirements

• Valid certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or a similar body
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
