Salary Range: $138,000 - $189,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Norton Shores seeking Plant Managers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all daily plant operations, including production, quality, maintenance, and logistics.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to achieve production targets, cost efficiencies, and quality standards.
• Manage and mentor a diverse team of supervisors and production personnel, fostering a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and accountability.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
• Optimize resource allocation, including labor, materials, and equipment, to maximize productivity and minimize waste.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through lean manufacturing principles and data-driven decision-making.
• Manage plant budget, controlling expenses and identifying opportunities for cost reduction.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, and R&D, to support new product introductions and improve existing processes.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field
• 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing operations
• Proven track record in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, control costs, and optimize resource allocation
• Strong understanding of safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental compliance
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for team leadership and stakeholder engagement

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification
• Experience with automation and control systems
• PMP certification
• Bilingual proficiency (e.g., Spanish)
• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
