2027 Summer Intern: Business Analyst

• You’re a motivated student with a current 3.0 GPA or higher currently pursuing a degree in one of the following areas from an accredited college or university:
• Computer Science, Data Science
• This is a paid, full-time, 11-week internship designed to give you real-world experience and meaningful exposure to the telecommunications industry in your chosen field.
• Internship program runs from May 26 through August 6, 2027.
• In addition to role-specific projects, you’ll take part in professional development sessions, networking opportunities, mentorship and experiences that help you grow personally and professionally.

What you can expect in this role

As a Spectrum intern, you’ll spend the summer working alongside two teams: your respective department and your intern cohort.

Department and team-focused projects account for about 80% of your schedule. You’ll spend the other 20% on internship experiences that include a kickoff conference, professional development sessions and networking activities, webinars, community service, cross-functional projects and final presentations.

This experience is designed to help you explore your interests, expand your network and leave with a deeper understanding of both your field and the impact of our business.

Internship responsibilities may include:

Data Analytics Intern supporting reporting and analytics activities by analyzing data, creating reports and dashboards, and helping turn data into useful business insights. Assist with integrating data from multiple sources, building automation, documenting data definitions/business rules, and identifying improvement opportunities. Support management reporting, ad hoc requests, and compliance-related data audits while collaborating with stakeholders and helping maintain reporting tools and resources.

• Sourcing requirements from business, creating reports and dashboards to highlight key metrics and drive strategic decisions

Required qualifications

• Must be a rising senior with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and May 2028
• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited College or University completing a bachelor’s degree
• Must have at least a 3.0 GPA or greater in current program
• Ability to travel locally to Spectrum intern development events and activities throughout the program
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

• ETL / BI Tools (Alteryx and Tableau are a plus), Python, SQL
