We work to maintain the highest standards of care.Benefits to working at the Phoenix Center:Competitive salaryMedical, dental, and vision benefits401K retirement planAdvancement opportunitiesPaid time offService awardsResponsibilities as a Unit Manager:Responsible for the daily operations of a nursing unit within the facilitySupervise CNAs, LPNs, and RNs and participate in their evaluations including competency checklistsAssist in solving clinical and administrative problemsSupervise care delivery systems to ensure accuracy and consistencyProvide clinical expertise in medical, behavioral, and crisis managementParticipate with the Interdisciplinary Team in developing, implementing, and evaluating a means to achieve resident care goalsCoordinate with the Director of Nursing to accomplish facility and patient-care goalsProvide regular resident status updates to appropriate personnelConduct and document a complete data collection of each resident's medical status upon admission and throughout the resident's course of treatmentAssist in the development and implementation of an individualized treatment plan for each assigned residentAssist nursing personnel to act in compliance with corporate policies and procedures and regulatory requirementsProvide excellent customer service to our residents and familiesCommunicate with families and physicians regarding our residentsRequirements for a Unit Manager:Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of New JerseyNursing: 1 year (Preferred)Point Click Care: 1 year (Preferred)Excellent communication skillsThe Phoenix Center provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment.
