Requisition ID: 923218 Store #: 000459 LensCrafters Position: Full-Time Purpose: The Licensed Optician will deliver brand value and provide exceptional customer service to help establish LensCrafters as a premier destination for vision needs. Responsibilities Welcome all customers and set expectations. Custom fit glasses and precisely place prescription in lenses. Act as a leader in optical acumen. Take and record measurements; accurately adjust and fit eyewear with attention to detail, ensuring finished eyewear meets standards and customer needs. Assist team with complex product needs and prescriptions. Accurately and thoroughly use technology, maintain product knowledge, and use appropriate tools while managing time pressure and customer volume. Proactively explore root cause of issues, forward‑thinking and solution‑driven to ensure customer satisfaction exceeds expectations. Multi‑task, prioritize and manage time amidst competing priorities. Strive to achieve exceptional results on Brand KPIs and competencies. Maintain store appearance, keeping it clean, attractive and organized. Inform management of safety opportunities and demonstrate safe work practices. Be resourceful and self‑motivated with a desire for continual learning, improvement and results. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including discounts, promotions and inventory management. Basic Qualifications High School graduate or equivalent. State licensure. Optical dispensing experience. Strong customer service skills: communicator, listener and team builder. Knowledge of current store merchandise. Strong basic math skills. Awareness of current fashion trends. Sales skills – ability to use and carry an iPad/tablet. Familiarity with POS, computers and calculators. Ability to embrace new technology and change. Preferred Qualifications Previous customer service and retail experience.
