Tester

IDR is seeking a Tester to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Des Moines, IA. This role involves supporting state government projects within the healthcare and human services industry. The successful candidate will play a key part in testing and validating critical system processes to ensure quality and compliance. Position Overview for the Tester: Support and validate functional and technical testing for healthcare-related systems within a government environment. Review and interpret system requirements, functional specifications, and design documentation. Execute various testing phases including test planning, execution, and closure. Coordinate interface testing involving internal and external data exchanges. Ensure the accuracy of benefit calculations, issuance schedules, and eligibility outcomes. Requirements for the Tester: Manual testers with automation familiarity and general experience SNAP or Medicaid experience working with HHS agency Demonstrated ability to review and interpret functional specifications, system requirements, and other design documentation. Proficient across testing phases, including test planning, execution, and closure, and experienced in multiple testing types such as integration testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing. Demonstrated experience testing batch processes including benefit issuance, interfaces (flat files and SOAP UI), data conversion, reports, notices, and security roles. What’s in it for you?
