We are Hiring an Accounting Assistant in Deerfield Beach!

Job Description

The Accounts Receivable/Payable Specialist is responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations by managing accounts payable and accounts receivable activities while maintaining accurate financial records. This position ensures timely payment processing, customer invoicing, cash application support, account reconciliation, and compliance with company policies and financial regulations.

Responsibilities

• Review and process vendor invoices and obtain required approvals.
• Reconcile vendor statements and issue customer invoices.
• Track payments and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Support collection efforts and maintain accurate financial records through detailed data entry and documentation management.
• Process approximately 75-100 invoices per week.

Essential Skills

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, vendors, and customers.
• Strong accounting fundamentals and analytical problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in accounts payable and receivable processing, preferably in manufacturing.
• ERP experience, with a bonus if familiar with Epicor.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience handling paper-based AP process.
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams and improve processes.
• Quick learning capability and vendor relationship management.

Work Environment

This role is onsite Monday through Friday with flexible coverage between 7:45 AM and 6:00 PM. The position is part of a collaborative team environment, working closely with the sales team and other key stakeholders. The company is expanding through acquisitions and is a major player in the manufacturing sector in Northern Colorado. They have a strong team-oriented culture, supporting aerospace and energy technologies that make flight safer, cleaner, and more efficient.

This is a Contract position based out of Deerfield Beach, FL.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Deerfield Beach,FL.
