Transcendent Healing Therapeutic Services is seeking a compassionate and skilled Full-Time Clinical Mental Health Therapist specializing in mood disorders to join our dedicated team. This full-time position is predominantly remote, allowing for flexibility while maintaining a professional atmosphere conducive to client care. Our clinic operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional provisions for evening and weekend hours on a rotating basis. Ideal candidates will be comfortable navigating virtual therapy platforms and effectively engaging with clients at a distance.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments aimed at evaluating symptoms related to mood disorders, considering their severity, frequency, and duration.
• Collaborate closely with clients to create individualized treatment plans that align with their personal goals and therapeutic needs.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities—most notably Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)—to support client progress and well-being.
• Provide educational resources and support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care techniques.
• Monitor client progress throughout treatment, adjusting plans based on ongoing evaluations to ensure the best possible outcomes.
• Engage in collaborative efforts with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to maintain a coordinated approach to client care.
• Stay informed of the latest research and advancements in mental health practices, particularly those related to mood disorders, enhancing treatment effectiveness.
• Keep precise documentation of all client interactions, assessments, and treatment frameworks, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Participate in case consultations and professional development opportunities to refine clinical skills and embrace best practices.
• Advocate for clients' mental health needs and work towards reducing stigma surrounding mood disorders through proactive community engagement.

In this role, you will primarily support individuals grappling with various mood disorders including, but not limited to, major depressive disorder, bipolar disorder, and generalized anxiety disorder. We pride ourselves on providing care to a diverse array of clients, reflecting different backgrounds and experiences, ensuring that every individual receives respectful and effective treatment.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• Must possess a current and valid license as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in New York State.
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience, particularly in the realm of mood disorders, is preferred.
• Proven expertise in evidence-based treatments such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Solid understanding of psychopharmacology and familiarity in working alongside psychiatrists and medical professionals for comprehensive patient care.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect meaningfully with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds.

• Experience working in a community health setting may be advantageous.
• Demonstrated success in achieving positive outcomes for clients with mood disorders will be considered favorably.
• Background in conducting workshops or educational sessions on mental health awareness is a plus.

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, alongside a sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.
