Program Coordinator

Summary:The Program Coordinator will be responsible for providing direct consumer services, clinical oversight of staff, and responsible for Medicaid billing services and oversight for Healthy Start.Essential Job Functions:Maintains and manages a Healthy Start counseling/Moving Beyond Depression (MBD) caseloadProvides clinical supervision to other Healthy Start therapistsReviews clinical documentation of other Master’s level counselors via Well Family System (WFS) and RedCap databases.Ensures accuracy in coding and documentation for direct service staffCompletes and provides oversight related to Medicaid billingConducts initial assessments, and care coordination services to Healthy Start consumers, including home visits, as neededProvides wrap around services/education to Healthy Start consumers as needed, including parenting, childbirth, breastfeeding, Inter-conceptional care, tobacco cessation, and/or psychosocial counseling servicesConducts telephone calls and home visits outside of regular business hours as needed, to establish contact with consumersMaintains consumer records in compliance with agency, state, Joint Commission, Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA), Florida Department of Health (FDOH) and other rules and standards, guidelines, and regulations.Ensures compliance with Healthy Start Standards and GuidelinesServes as Acting Director in the absence of Director of Early Intervention & Prevention.Communicates with The Village Leadership staff, as neededParticipates in Performance Improvement activities on an ongoing basis.Embrace and embody the mission, vision, guiding principles, clinical vision and goals of WestCare Foundation.Completes all orientation and mandated training activities, including E-Learning Courses, within required timeframes, and in accordance with the criteria established for this position.Perform any other duties as assigned.Essential Qualifications:Certifications/Licensures:Must hold active professional licensure in the state of florida in the field of mental health, social work, or similar-like field. (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT)Education:Graduation from an accredited graduate school with a masters degree in psychology, social work, or similar-like field required.Experience and Competencies:A minimum of two years of experience providing services to target population.Bilingual is preferredFamiliarity with Miami-Dade and/or Broward CountyCPR Certification, First Aid Certification and an annual Tuberculosis test.Ability utilize Microsoft Office Software SuiteAbility to provide an Affidavit of Good Moral CharacterClearance in Pre-Employment Drug Testing and Criminal Records Checks, as required.As mandated by Presidential Order all employees of WestCare Foundation, Inc. and all affiliates of WestCare Foundation, Inc. will be required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 effective 11/1/2021.
