The Bookkeeper will manage the small-business general ledger and support accurate, timely financial operations. Reporting to the External CPA and Business Owners, this role will use QuickBooks Online and RedTeam Construction Management while assisting with payroll processing, payroll data preparation, and tax document coordination.
Responsibilities
- Record financial transactions in the small-business general ledger.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Process invoices and track business expenses.
- Reconcile bank accounts and maintain accurate financial records.
- Prepare financial reports for the External CPA and Business Owner.
- Support payroll processing and prepare payroll data.
- Coordinate tax documentation and related records.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Valid driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of bookkeeping experience.
- Experience with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, and financial reporting.
- Strong attention to detail and time-management skills.
