Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program
• State licensure/certification as a School Social Worker
• Previous experience serving elementary-aged students in educational or therapeutic settings
• Strong knowledge of best practices in school social work, crisis intervention, and service delivery
• Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
• Ability to foster trust and effectively advocate for student needs and well-being

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support services to students and families to address social, emotional, and behavioral challenges
• Develop and implement intervention strategies in collaboration with school staff, including teachers and counselors
• Maintain accurate records and prepare reports related to student progress and case management
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and service delivery goals
• Serve as a resource for school personnel and families, connecting them to community support as needed
• Uphold confidentiality and ethical standards in all interactions
