Locum Non-Invasive Cardiologist

North Memorial Health is seeking a locum non-invasive cardiologist. Practice setting includes inpatient, outpatient, and call. Coverage is due to growth of clinical services and provider departures. Call schedule is q7. Average number of clinic patients per day is 12-14. Average number of inpatient admissions per physician per day is 5-10 consults. Trauma level is level 1. There are 17 cardiologists in the group and other cardiologists will be present during the locum's coverage. The locum physician will need to supervise advanced practice providers and may need to supervise stress tests and cardiac rehab as needed. Patient age demographic is adult. Documentation system/EMR is Epic. Prefers local candidates or physicians that are already licensed in MN. Credentialing timeframe is ~90-120 days. Required procedures include echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography, electrical cardioversions, electrocardiograms (EKGs), and treadmill stress tests.

Board certified or board eligible through ABMS is required. ACLS is required. MN license is preferred. Local candidates are highly preferred. DEA is verbal confirmation required at name clear.
