Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 21 weeks Shift: Day (3x12-Hour) Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience required License: Valid RN license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC Must-Have: - Previous charge experience - Experience with patient ratios - Charting experience Description: Seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. The candidate will be required to work every other weekend. No call responsibilities are expected for this position. Floating within the facility and scope of practice may be needed. Candidates will be reviewed by clinical staff to determine clinical fit. If the clinical evaluation is passed, the candidate will be sent for a final decision. Candidates can expect to work major holidays if they fall within the assignment period. Full compliance is required to start on time. Orientation hours may be non-billable and are determined by contract length. Daily census in the department is approximately 250 visits per day. Patient age groups include neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The unit provides interdisciplinary support, including physical therapy and respiratory services. Patient diagnoses include level 3 trauma, primary stroke, CHF, STEMI, and chest pain center. Specific skills required include care of ventilated patients and interpretation of dysrhythmias. Compliance with onboarding requirements is essential for timely start dates. All requests for time off must be finalized before the submission. The candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality emergency care.
