Production Administrative Batching Assistant

Production Coordinator

Job Responsibilities

Production Documentation & Batching

  • Create and organize production packets, work orders, labels, drawings, and assembly instructions to support manufacturing operations
  • Generate and distribute production documentation required for equipment operation and workflow execution
  • Verify accuracy and completeness of production paperwork before release to the production floor
  • Maintain and update work order status and production records within company systems

Administrative & Operational Support

  • Provide administrative support to production leadership and operations teams
  • Assist with data entry, reporting, and production tracking activities
  • Monitor documentation flow to ensure production schedules and priorities are supported
  • Maintain organized production records and filing systems

Inventory & Material Coordination

  • Monitor office and production-related supply inventories and coordinate replenishment as needed
  • Support inventory tracking and reporting activities
  • Assist with maintaining accurate production and material records

Communication & Collaboration

  • Serve as a liaison between office personnel and production teams to ensure smooth workflow and communication
  • Coordinate with supervisors and team members to address documentation or scheduling needs
  • Support continuous improvement efforts to increase operational efficiency and accuracy

Compliance & Accuracy

  • Maintain a high level of accuracy in all documentation, records, and data entry
  • Follow company policies, procedures, and quality standards
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Customer-service mindset and professional demeanor

Experience in administrative support, production support, manufacturing, or operations environments

Familiarity with production scheduling, batching, inventory systems, or ERP software

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams

Experience working in manufacturing, construction, industrial, or building materials environments

Primarily office-based within a manufacturing or production facility

Ability to sit, stand, walk, and move between office and production areas throughout the workday

Frequent use of computers, office equipment, and production management systems

Ability to lift and move office materials and supplies as needed

May require extended hours based on business and production demands
