As a Security Officer Access Screening in Commerce City, CO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will help manage access control, monitor assigned areas, and support security-related operations through visible presence and attentive communication. In this role, you will help to deter incidents, assist employees and visitors, and deliver customer service with integrity. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a busy logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points for employees, visitors, and/or drivers, verify credentials and shipment-related documentation, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, dock areas, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions that may vary by location.
• Support visitor management and traffic flow at access points by communicating clearly with site personnel, guests, and/or delivery partners regarding entry procedures and site expectations.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
