This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of clients by providing personalized, one-on-one care in the comfort of their own homes. Responsibilities: Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure safety and comfort Monitor and document client health status, reporting any changes to supervisors Prepare meals and assist with feeding according to dietary needs and preferences Perform light housekeeping duties including laundry, cleaning, and errands Offer companionship and emotional support to clients and their families Administer medication reminders and assist with prescribed exercises or therapy routines Requirements: Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of California Previous experience in home care, assisted living, or a similar caregiving environment preferred Strong understanding of personal care, infection control, and patient safety practices Reliable transportation and valid driver's license required Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient, empathetic demeanor Ability to pass a background check and provide verifiable references CPR/First Aid certification is a plus About Us: ComForCare Home Care - Contra Costa West has been proudly serving the Orinda and greater Contra Costa community with trusted, high-quality in-home care services.
