JOB SUMMARY:
The Swim Instructor / Water Safety Instructor will teach Private Swim Lessons, Adult and Child Red Cross Learn-to-Swim and Infant/Toddler Swim Instruction. Lessons may be scheduled at our facility or at private homes.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Private swim lessons
• Deliver a 5-Star guest experience
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment for swimmers at each location you teach
• Promote all aspects of the club and Sportime programs
• Maintain a log of lessons given, ensure swim lessons in scheduler are accurate and pull a voucher or take payment prior to each lesson
• Develop and maintain cooperative work relationships with others

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Must have current American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor certification
• Demonstrate swimming skills consistent with an aquatics professional by swimming the following strokes: front crawl, back crawl, breaststroke, backstroke, sidestroke, butterfly, and tread water for 1 minute.
• Must have a flexible schedule to include early mornings, evenings and weekends
• Ability to work outdoors during warm summer months
• Ability to swim and carry adults to safety
• Must have reliable transportation to travel to offsite lessons
• Excellent guest service skills

WORK CONTEXT:

• In addition to the responsibilities and qualifications set forth above, this position requires physical activity, including but not limited to:
• Lifting (up to 50 lbs.), carrying, balancing, walking, stooping, bending, stretching, twisting and reaching using entire body and a
• Use of both fine and gross motor skills
• Sit and to stand for long periods of time

HOURLY RATE: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour for in camp instruction
$50.00 per hour for private swim lessons

SCHEDULE: June 29, 2026 - September 4, 2026
Monday - Friday 9:30am -3:30pm. Private lessons after camp or on weekends
