Accounting Manager

Our manufacturing client is seeking an Accounting Manager to join their team in the greater Spartanburg, SC area. This is an on-site opportunity; local candidates only. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing all organizational accounting functions, including reconciliations, accounts payable, month-end close, and financial reporting. Manufacturing industry experience is required. This is an excellent opportunity for exposure and professional growth. Responsibilities The Accounting Manager will be responsible for: Performing financial information compilation and analysis for the preparation of journal entries Preparing budgets, cost updates, income projections, variance analysis, and management reports Creating and submitting funding requests Processing capital and C&A project costs Identifying control issues and developing and implementing resolution procedures Managing accounts payable and payroll functions Overseeing physical inventory functions The ideal Accounting Manager will possess: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline 3+ years of accounting experience in a manufacturing plant environment Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Salary: Up to $115,000 + bonus Employment Type: Direct Hire The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, location, and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
