Accountant

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a client to hire an Accountant for a direct-hire opportunity in Cincinnati, OH. This position is ideal for a recent accounting graduate or early-career professional looking to build hands‑on experience while developing a strong foundation in general accounting. This is a fully onsite position where you will work alongside an experienced accounting team and support general ledger accounting, month‑end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting. Responsibilities: Support the monthly close process, ensuring accounting activity is completed accurately and within established deadlines Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, prepaids, and recurring entries Complete general ledger, bank, balance sheet, and intercompany account reconciliations Review financial results and assist with researching variances between actual results, budgets, and prior periods Assist with monthly financial reporting and maintain organized supporting documentation for accounting and audit purposes Collaborate with internal teams and serve as liaison in regards to transactional accounting Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required 1–2 years of accounting experience preferred; candidates with strong accounting internship experience may also be considered Foundational understanding of GAAP, general ledger accounting, journal entries, and reconciliations Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including familiarity with pivot tables, lookups, and formulas Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills with excellent attention to detail Motivated, team‑oriented professional with the ability to manage multiple priorities and a willingness to learn Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $70,000.00 per year Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled Military connected talent encouraged to apply To read our Candidate Privacy Information Statement, which explains how we will use your information, please navigate to Massachusetts Candidates Only: It is unlawful in Massachusetts to require or administer a lie detector test as a condition of employment or continued employment.
