Senior Benefits Specialist

Job Description

Our client is a premier law firm. They seek a Senior Benefits Specialist to join their Manhattan, NY office.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day administration of the firm's employee benefits programs, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and an excellent employee experience
\n
• Act as the primary point of contact for employee benefits and wellbeing queries, providing expert advice and resolving issues promptly
\n
• Coordinate annual benefits renewals, provider relationships, benchmarking activities, and the implementation of new or enhanced benefits
\n
• Develop, deliver, and evaluate the firm's annual wellbeing program, covering physical, mental, financial, and social wellbeing initiatives
\n
• Lead wellbeing campaigns, events, training sessions, and communications to increase employee engagement and awareness of available support
\n
• Analyze benefits utilization, wellbeing metrics, employee feedback, and market trends to identify opportunities for continuous improvement
\n
• Produce regular reports and insights for HR leadership, supporting data-driven decision-making and program effectiveness
\n
• Ensure benefits and wellbeing programs comply with relevant legislation, regulatory requirements, firm policies, and data privacy standards
\n
• Manage benefits and wellbeing projects, including planning, stakeholder engagement, communications, implementation, and post-launch evaluation
\n
• Build effective relationships with HR colleagues, Payroll, Finance, external providers, and business stakeholders to support the delivery of the firm's people strategy
\n

Requirements

\n
• Relevant experience from a law firm, non-profit, or investment firm
\n
• Benefits experience required
\n
• Insurance claims experience required
\n
• Experience delivering PowerPoint presentations
\n
• HRIS system experience, preferably Peoplesoft
\n
