Job Description
Lawyers on Demand, a Consilio Company, is seeking a temporary benefits specialist for an assignment with one of our legal clients,
\n \nStart: ASAP
\nPay Rate: $25+/hr, commensurate with experience
\nLocation: Hybrid schedule, 3 days in office DC/two days at home
\nHours: 9-5:30 with an hour lunch break; ability to work OT as needed
\nDuration: 1-3 months with the possibility of full-time hire
\n \nJob Description
\nOur client, top law firm is hiring for a temporary benefits specialist to utilize knowledge of the firm benefits programs and procedures to effectively administer the firm’s core benefits programs.
\n \nKey Responsibilities
\n- \n
- Proactively ensure assigned projects are on schedule and status information regarding the progress of each project is reported in a timely manner \n
- Conduct research, gather data, and disseminate information for and on behalf of department personnel. \n
- Other duties and special projects as assigned \n
Qualifications
\n- \n
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field \n
- Minimum 1 year of law firm experience \n
- Minimum of three years of work experience in benefits program development and coordination required \n
- Knowledge of benefits plans and employment laws \n
- Knowledge of data gathering, analytical review of information and making sound recommendations on benefits program design \n
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong Excel skills, and the ability to learn the firm’s systems and databases \n
- Knowledge of SharePoint or other web design program, HRIS and database software, preferably Ceridian Dayforce \n
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and protect data of records and other sensitive information \n
- Ability to work under pressure, meet frequent deadlines, and prioritize multiple tasks \n
