About the Role We are seeking an energetic, commercially driven, and high-impact leader to serve as our Senior Director, Network & Member Solutions. Positioned at the center of the MAI ecosystem, this role demands a proactive builder with a strong "selling" communication style, exceptional persuasive ability, and an infectious enthusiasm for bringing people and mission-aligned solutions together. You will own both sides of our marketplace: pitching and recruiting member organizations, and sourcing, negotiating, and onboarding vendor partners. What You’ll Do Drive Network Growth & Pipeline: Proactively recruit, onboard, and re-engage purpose-driven organizations across our 700+ member network using persuasive outreach and dynamic relationship management. Source & Monetize Member Solutions: Identify, negotiate, and onboard high-value vendors, tools, and platforms, translating member needs into revenue-generating solution portfolios. Broker High-Impact Deals: Actively match products and services to member needs, broker high-touch purchases, and deploy grant-funded incentives to accelerate adoption. Champion the Platform: Serve as an outgoing, highly visible ambassador for MAI’s data platform, effectively articulating its ROI and mission value to prospective members, donors, and vendors. Host & Convene High-Touch Events: Design and lead vibrant, engaging signature events, intimate executive dinners, and dynamic member gatherings to inspire community and drive deal flow. Direct Growth Campaigns: Partner with Communications to craft compelling marketing campaigns, newsletter features, and social collateral that boost member acquisition and solution uptake. Pivot & Innovate: Rapidly adapt strategy in a fast-paced environment, applying abstract problem-solving and creative scenario-building to launch new marketplace categories and strategic coalitions. What Success Looks Like in Year One Expansion of our vetted member solution portfolio with high-adoption rates across key organizational categories. A high-velocity, repeatable brokering motion from initial needs intake to closed purchase agreements and incentive deployment. Measurable increase in active member participation, deal closures, and network retention. A vibrant schedule of signature events and executive gatherings that drive measurable partner engagement. Who You Are Dynamic Pitch & Sales Professional: 5–8+ years of experience in business development, B2B consultative sales, marketplace expansion, or strategic account growth. High-Energy Influencer: Possesses an optimistic, persuasive, and outgoing interpersonal style with an innate ability to captivate an audience, connect with diverse stakeholders, and close agreements. Agile & Drive-Focused: Comfortable operating under high pressure, navigating shifting priorities, and taking decisive initiative without needing a rigid playbook. Commercially Sharp: Skilled in structuring partner deals, navigating complex pricing economics, and closing multi-stakeholder proposals with integrity. Innovative Thinker: Demonstrates exceptionally high creativity, bringing fresh ideas to marketing outreach, event concepts, and business models. Exceptional Facilitator: Confident host and speaker who commands a room, whether in an intimate dinner setting, virtual webinar, or large conference. Bonus Points Background in health and human services (CBOs, CCBHCs, SDOH networks) or NYS policy landscapes. Experience leveraging modern CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, Airtable) to track pipelines and measure deal flow. Prior experience managing marketplace models or channel partner ecosystems. The salary range for this position is $130,000 – $160,000 annually, commensurate with experience, plus a competitive benefits package. This is a remote-first role; regular in-person presence is required for relationship building and events, with travel across New York State and beyond.
