Position Overview We are looking for a capable, organized, and people-oriented HR Specialist to join our team. This is a broad, generalist-oriented role that touches all areas of HR — recruiting, onboarding, compliance, employee relations, and HR administration. You will be the go-to resource for employees and managers alike, and a key driver of HR process consistency across the organization. This role is well-suited for someone with a few years of HR experience who is ready to operate with a high degree of autonomy and make a visible impact in a growing manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities Manage full-cycle recruiting for hourly and salaried positions, including job postings, sourcing, screening, scheduling, and offer coordination Conduct new hire onboarding and orientation, ensuring a consistent and professional experience Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, files, and HR databases Administer and track benefits enrollment, changes, and employee inquiries Support compliance with federal and state employment laws (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO, etc.) Assist with performance management processes, documentation, and follow-through Serve as a first point of contact for employee questions and HR-related matters Draft HR communications, policies, offer letters, and other documents as needed Support disciplinary and separation processes in coordination with management Identify opportunities to improve HR workflows, documentation, and systems Coordinate with external vendors including job boards, background check providers, and benefits brokers

Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered 2–5 years of HR experience in a generalist or specialist capacity Working knowledge of federal and Texas employment law and HR compliance requirements Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with HRIS or ATS platforms a plus Excellent interpersonal and communication skills — written and verbal High degree of discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive employee matters PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus, but not required

Preferred Background Experience supporting HR in a manufacturing, industrial, or trades environment Experience with an HRIS system (PEO) Familiarity with recruiting platforms such as LinkedIn, ZipRecruiter, or Indeed Experience with multi-department or multi-shift workforce coordination
