Job Description
NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care Unit

Schedule
Shift: Nights

Requirements
- Minimum 1 year NICU experience
- Travel experience required; previous travel preferred
- Certifications: BLS, NRP
- Experience with patient ratios: 1:1 to 1:4

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide advanced care to critically ill neonates in an intensive care setting.
- Monitor and manage respiratory support including ventilator modes and CPAP.
- Administer medications and manage IVs and blood products as needed.
- Conduct neonatal assessments and apply interventions for conditions such as sepsis and hyperbilirubinemia.
- Support families through education and assistance with feeding and developmental care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care of neonates.

Compliance / Notes
- Orientation: 24 hours
- Weekend requirement: 4 weekend shifts per 6-week period
- Float to like units as needed
- Pre-approved time off: two (per contract)
- Pending NM/Compact license accepted (must be obtained prior to start)
- Must attend required onsite modules during orientation
- Max of 4 days can be auto-approved for time off
