Key Qualifications:

• Active or pending CDE license (must submit with application; TEE not accepted)
• Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher in an elementary school
• Demonstrated classroom management skills
• Track record of working with students with autism
• Strong organizational abilities and a collaborative, flexible approach
• Ability to work onsite full-time

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction and case management for a resource caseload at the elementary level
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Utilize a variety of instructional strategies tailored to individual student needs
• Create and maintain a positive, structured classroom environment
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
• Monitor student progress, document outcomes, and participate in team meetings
• Remain compliant with state and federal special education regulations

Position Details:

• Full-time, onsite contract: 40 hours per week (37.5 paid/2.5 hours unpaid lunch)
• Assignment runs ASAP through November 30, 2026
• Work within a supportive school resource team environment
